One such an area where many individuals find challenging to maneuver around pertains to data analysis; quantitative and qualitative, skills for data visualizations during presentations and creating meaningful interpretations of findings to an audience with much ease. This short course is the answer to the above urgent industry need. Data analysis is an integral part of any scientific study that includes data organizations, data display through for instance graphs, model fittings and other computational components. Additionally, the other growing concern is also about how one can manage ‘thick data’ for those have passion for qualitative analyses. The visualization of the inherent characteristics of the raw data is also an important part of this short intensive course. The appropriate understanding of statistical methodologies and manipulation with easy-to-use software such as MS Excel & SPSS lead to an effective data analysis. Therefore, data visualization provides a powerful way to effectively communicate data-driven findings, motivate analyses, detect flaws and enhances one’s profession writing and argumentation prowess.  This course is definitely for those with interest in multiple techniques as regards research designs and data collection, data analyses, visualization, interpretation and effective communication of findings.
